The highest point is Mount Katahdin 5,218, the lowest point is the sea level along the coast. If you make it on the top of the Mount Katahdin it will be all foggy. The white Mountains zig zag the northern and western state of maine. The Mountains hold about 2,500 natural lakes and ponds. Climate Maine is the northern state in America, and really cold most of the time besides the middle of summer on most of their islands. When it snows they sled, ski and snowball fights. And sometimes you can see the northern lights in the winter.
